2003
The creation
Snoring Inn began in 2003 with a single property: Hlabisa B&B, opened by our founder — a truck driver turned entrepreneur — who believed in building something lasting in his hometown. Tucked away in the quiet rural charm of Hlabisa, the B&B quickly gained attention. Travelers from nearby places like Mtubatuba and KwaMsane came seeking a clean, welcoming place to stay — and that’s exactly what they got. What started as a simple offering became a trusted local name in no time.
2019
The takeover
By 2019, Snoring Inn was no longer a one-location project — it was a growing family business. We converted our old family home into Green Tree B&B, turning memories into hospitality. Hlabisa B&B expanded too, adding extra rooms and even a second floor to keep up with demand. Shortly after, Kwamsane B&B opened its doors, bringing Snoring Inn’s presence into a new neighborhood with the same heart and standards that built the brand.
Now
The Present
Today, Snoring Inn is four B&Bs strong — and still growing. 243 B&B, our largest and most ambitious location yet, stands proudly in Mtubatuba. We’re actively shaping it into the go-to stay for anyone visiting the region. But even as we grow, we’re grounded in the same values we started with: offering simple, restful stays backed by real care and local pride. This is a family-run business — built from the ground up, rooted in the community, and always evolving.
